Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good organisational skills, and a positive attitude, with the ability to maintain high laundry and fabric care standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.

• Handle washing, drying, ironing, folding, and sorting of hotel linen and guest laundry.

• Maintain quality standards in fabric care and laundry handling.

• Ensure laundry areas and equipment are kept clean and organised.

• Support housekeeping operations where needed.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Carry out repetitive tasks with consistency and care.

• Contribute positively as part of a team and support excellent guest service standards.

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12).

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role.

• Basic knowledge of laundry procedures and fabric care.

• Ability to operate laundry equipment; training can be provided.

• Good attention to detail and quality standards.

• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Good time management and organisational skills.

• Team player with a positive attitude and a guest service-driven approach.
